Who is Soké?  Born Zacharie ‘Soké’ Raymond in Ottawa, Soké is an independent singer, songwriter and performer who produces Reggae, RnB, Dancehall, Hip Hop, House music and Drum & Bass.

Currently based in Montreal Canada, Soké is a trilingual artist.  He is fluent in French, English and communicates in Spanish (also Jamaican patois).

His songs are heard internationally through his internet radio show, ‘La Pagode’ based in Morocco.  His experience comes from years of sound engineering, production and experimentation, studies at the Trebas Institute of Music Production in Montreal, DJ’ing and live performances and street promotion of his own as well as associated artists albums.

Soké, considered the hardest working artist in Quebec by his peers, can sing as well as rap; his unique voice ranges from baritone to countertenor.  He promotes his values such as peace, love, unity and respect.

After producing a few “practice albums”, he released his first official album in 2005, which is a bilingual Hip Hop compilation, and his second in 2007, a trilingual Hip Hop compilation.

Soké produced an album for Canadian rapper Dialekt in 2007 and 2008 then he produced the ‘Righteous Kill’ album for Canadian rapper Righteous from 2007 to 2008. He released his third album in 2008 (a trilingual Hip Hop compilation), then produced promotional albums for Reggae artists such as King Shadrock in 2009.

Aside from his Moroccan projects, he has assumed production, mixing and A&R of his latest street album entitled ‘Di Most Critically Acclaimed’.
